Tony Woodward

Physiotherapist

I'm Tony and after graduating from Coventry University in 2005 I began  my career in the NHS, gaining a wealth of experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. I also was involved in the Hand Therapy service. I've worked in Private Practice since 2010 and I am the founder of AW Physio & Sports Injury Clinic. 

I specialise in all areas of musculoskeletal complaints and I have a strong interest in treating sports injuries. I am a keen runner myself, and have completed thirteen marathons to date including representing the England Masters team on three occasions for the marathon, twice for the half marathon team, and also once for the 10km team.  My other sporting interests include golf and football but finding time to fit all my sporting interests in with a young family proves challenging!

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).  I am also a practicing member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

Tony works at the Mountsorrel clinic on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and the Kirby Muxloe clinic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
